and deliver solutions internally – without compromises.
For this project, we at KATEMO GROUP have developed our own unique softwaresolutions for intelligent management and monitoring of production, consumption, accumulation, andadvanced performance balancing services. The predictive energy management system K-EMSensures availability, performance, operational optimisation, and cybersecurity (NIS2) in real time.
Built on technologies from renowned manufacturers with full support, service infrastructure, and in accordance with European legislation for criticalinfrastructure.

Let’s join forces in solving your future energy needs
Describe your current situation or project to us. We will assign you an expert who will find the most effective solution with you – tailor-made and with the quality guarantee of KATEMO GROUP.
What you need to know
before we start drawing
We address the most common questions that clients bring to us before the initial proposal of a solution.
Battery storage is a system of high-capacity batteries controlled by a central system. It stores surplus energy from renewable sources during periods when production exceeds consumption, as well as energy during times of low or negative electricity prices in the distribution network. It then allows the stored energy to be used later. It thus ensures energy self-sufficiency, grid stabilisation, and reduction of electricity costs.
Our battery storage systems are designed for a wide spectrum of customers – from renewable energy source operators through local distribution systems and substations to industrial enterprises. Wherever there is a need to increase energy self-sufficiency, ensure operational stability, and reduce electricity costs, our solutions find their application.
No. We always supply battery storage as part of a comprehensive solution with professional integration – from expert assessment through design to actual implementation. Only this way are safety, reliability, and full utilisation of its potential ensured.
K-EMS (KATEMO - Energy Management System) is our advanced control system. It optimises production, consumption, and storage of energy, controls charging and discharging of storage facilities, and provides detailed monitoring, diagnostics, and remote management.
SLA (Service Level Agreement) is a contractual guarantee of the level of services. It determines, for example, the speed of service interventions, system availability, and maintenance conditions. With an SLA, you have assurance that your technology will always function reliably.
KATEMO GROUP builds on a combination of cutting-edge technologies and proprietary development. We use CATL LFP cells with liquid cooling, which undergo thousands of tests and achieve exceptionally low failure rates. Our solutions are furthermore complemented by our proprietary advanced control system K-EMS and cloud platform for monitoring, diagnostics, and data analysis, making our projects modular, flexible and ready for future expansion.
Currently, our company is implementing a significant extensive contract for SAKO Brno SOLAR, a.s. (organisation established by the City of Brno), where we are completing the first phase of rooftop PV installations on 10 municipal buildings.
Above all, we are constructing the largest energy project in the Czech Republic – ENERGY PARK Modlany with a photovoltaic power plant with capacity of 45 MW and a battery storage system with capacity of up to 130 MWh. Among other significant implementations are rooftop PV installation at the industrial site in Velká Bystřice near Olomouc with a capacity of 1 MW and the Vienna Point project in Brno, where we supplied a rooftop PV system with capacity of 1 MW together with a battery energy storage system (BESS) with power output of 1.2 MW and capacity of 1.2 MWh. These projects confirm our ability to deliver solutions at various scales, always with maximum emphasis on reliability, efficiency, and long-term sustainability.
We operate in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, and Hungary. We supply solutions from design through to long-term service across all markets.
Yes. We implement every project in 5 steps:
- Analysis & evaluation – we obtain input data and define requirements.
- Draft of the project – we arrange documentation and design of the technical solution. We then secure the legislation and necessary permits.
- Grants and financing – we help with the selection and processing of grants as well as with securing suitable financing.
- Implementation of the solution – we deliver the technology, carry out installation, commissioning, and train operators.
- Long-term service – we provide monitoring, diagnostics, inspections, and warranty and post-warranty service.
